Last week, Esther said to me while we were in the car, “Dad was the best person for you to marry.” Today I asked her more about what she meant. She said, “Well… He is the person who is best meant for you.” She said that we almost always agree with each other.
Little does she know. lol. Seriously, though, I’m so glad that this is how she sees our relationship.
And you know, I agree with her.

A week ago was the birthday of my favorite person in the world. When I first saw these cupcakes in my Hello, Cupcake! book, I knew I wanted to make them for Tom. He could eat spaghetti for dinner at least once a week.
These were so much fun to make! They’re just vanilla cupcakes in white liners. I tinted the vanilla frosting and piped it on the cupcakes to look like noodles. The “spaghetti sauce” is strawberry jam and the “meatballs” are Ferrero Rocher chocolate hazelnut candies. The final touch was the “parmesean cheese” (grated white chocolate). Yum!

Yesterday Tom made everyone happy. It was his day off and he was finally able to set up the kids’ new trampoline that Nana & Papa had given them for Christmas.
He also did the dishes.
